Join us for a full day of Zen meditation. Zazenkai (literally, “coming together for meditation”) is an excellent way to kickstart or deepen your Zen practice, no matter what stage you are at. Beginners and experienced practitioners are all welcome, and we’ll provide instruction along the way as needed.
In addition to plenty of meditation time, we will also share a Dharma Talk and do some yoga. Private meetings with our Teacher, Dan Shiro Burrier, are also available during the day for all participants.
With Coronavirus health restrictions gradually being lifted, this Zazenkai will be hybrid in-person and remote (via Zoom). If you are remote, we suggest that you carve out time to be present for the full schedule for maximum gain, but we will also permit silent entry and departures at any time during the day. (Please refer to the schedule and try to time any coming or going at appropriate breaks or transitions.) If you are in-person, you must participate for the full time, be fully vaccinated and symptom-free.
The suggested donation for this event is $40, but please feel free to give as little or as much as feels right to you.
